I’m sorry but they’re coming whether you like it or not: The Holidays. That time of year that everyone both looks forward to and dreads at the same time. Some people like call them the Holidaze probably because you’re in such a daze either before they arrive or during (or sometimes after the fact). Its arguably the busiest time of year for most people, myself included! This year has already been insane with influencing becoming a full-time gig and campaign after campaign (not complaining) but now add on the madness of the holiday? Whew, I’m tired already. When it comes to gift receiving I’m great but gift giving is a whole other story. I have such a hard time picking out gifts for the guys in my life whether it be my brother or my dad or my grandfather. Unlike myself, they don’t care too much about the fashion world which makes it hard for me to pick out clothes for them. Well, this year Walmart has made it a whole lot easier!

What is the one thing we need when its getting closer to those freezing temperatures? Say it with me: Layers! Most guys in my family choose to freeze to death before putting on a scarf, a jacket, or a turtleneck. Walmart has fantastic options that will help you or your loved ones look chic while out in the cold. They have a great array of sherpa-lined flannels that I absolutely love. I usually pair the flannel with a pair of jeans. The jeans fit to size and are very mobile. Another great holiday gift for the men in your lives is a great pair of boots. They are what you call “false shirts” or “dickies.” The turtleneck just covers your neck and part of your chest. Think of it as mittens for your neck (or a scarf without all that extra material).
