It’s that time of year again. The time that comes creeping up on us and then hits us (and our wallets) right where it hurts – the holiday season. A time of joy, happiness, celebration and connection that also induced much stress and anxiety, the holiday season can be a lot to handle for most people. I try to gear up the best I can before December and knock out everyone on my list. I usually fail at this every year BUT this year I’m making a vow to myself that it will be different. It will indeed be a strange holiday for the majority of families due to the virus, but in some way we hope to all be connected whether it be in person or virtually. Speaking of virtually, it’s time to forget the stores this year and shop in a much safer fashion- online! eBay is my main destination when it comes to buying gifts for my loved ones. You can find anything and everything with just the type of a keyword and a click of a button. The best thing about eBay is you can guarantee the authenticity of certain items before you buy them so you know exactly what you’re getting!
My family is particularly easy to shop for during the holiday season. The only person I usually have trouble with is my brother who has a specific taste level and owns pretty much everything he needs. He has a fancy corporate job so I wanted to get him a watch that fit his business aesthetic. eBay to the rescue! I found the perfect Breitling watch on the site that was already authentically guaranteed so I knew it was the real deal! You can find a list of the authenticity guaranteed watches right here on the site. I was between that Breitling and a similar one but decided on the former. This is something he will really love and such a nice piece to wear with any outfit.
While shopping for the watch, I did find a few other staple pieces that were perfect for a Fall into Winter look. I obviously had to style the watch before I passed it off so I paired it with the look I found on eBay. First, I found this mock neck sweater that was a beautiful brown color. I paired it with a pair of H&M tan plaid pants that were only $27 and the perfect fit. eBay has the best vintage pieces so I searched high and low and found a vintage Eldorado cashmere overcoat that complimented the brown sweater so well. On my feet I wore a pair of Oliver Cabell sneakers that were identical to the pair I scuffed up last year – how convenient! I also purchased an additional navy topcoat that I found on the site as well. Happy Holidays to me! Be sure to check out eBay this holiday season and get all of your shopping done in one fell swoop!
