This weekend I took a much needed trip down to sunny Miami Beach to escape the hell that is New York City around New Year’s Eve. Don’t be jealous because here I am back in fifteen degree weather waiting for a “bomb cyclone” to hit us tonight. Pretty unsure of what a bomb cyclone is so if anyone has any information on it let me know? Anyway I’m back in the tundra so I guess the only thing to do now is reminisce on the past five days since that’s all I’ll have to live for until my next vacation.
If you were wondering my visit was amazing. I stayed at Shore Club down in South Beach. Somewhat hidden away from the madness that is Collins Ave, the hotel was in a prime location and walking distance from every restaurant and bar you may have wanted to go to. It’s also right on the beach which I would think would be the main selling point. The staff at Shore Club is extremely knowledgable and are there to assist you at any point should you need it. Their breakfast and lunch spot Terrazza is great for a quick grab-and-go breakfast buffet or a sit down Italian restaurant. Terrazza is conveniently located next to the hotel pool so you can hop right on a lounge chair after you eat. They also offer room service through the restaurant throughout the day which I of course took advantage of. Guests also have access to the lounge chairs near the pool and at the beach as well. The outdoor garden is Moroccan-inspired and a great spot to sit and unwind during the stay.
Overall my visit was incredible and I’ll probably be talking about this trip until my next time away because I would love to forget that I’m in subzero temperatures. Check out my photos from the trip below!
