I think the title of the post says it all. Welcome back to NYC, it’s almost below freezing but don’t worry with the windchill it feels like it actually is! What I would do to be stuck on a tropical island right now. Or just give me sixty degrees, I won’t even ask for seventy-five. Please? Well regardless, this is where I live and I guess I have to now suck it up and deal with it…and go outside? That seems unfair, don’t you think? Also in all my twenty-seven year being on this earth I don’t remember it ever getting this cold in New York. Oh well, guess time to head outside…
The most important rule for the winter: LAYER. Wear sweaters over shirts and scarves under jackets and more jackets over or under those jackets. Basically keep yourself from getting pneumonia or the flu because that wouldn’t be ideal. My favorite brand to shop for affordable and stylish outwear and key layering pieces is River Island. They have a wide selection of sweaters, coats, scarves, and all that good stuff to keep you nice and warm in negative ten degree weather.
