I don’t know if it’s because, over the past few years, I’ve become more cognizant of what people are wearing or if people are just wearing the wrong things and I notice them more often? Regardless, I’ve seen TOO many people walking around NYC in some ill-fitting clothing. Especially when it comes to suiting. Everywhere I look I see a man wearing an oversized jacket with the sleeves down past the thumbs or another guy basically stepping on his pant leg making it fray because it’s too long. This needs to stop. For all of your sakes. Forget about presents for your loved ones this Valentines Day. Go out (or go online) and buy yourself a well-made suit (that fits).
Thanks to me (and my friends at Express) you’ll now know where to find the perfect suit for work, for your Valentines Day date or for your fancy (or business casual) work event. Express has the ultimate selection of mens suits ranging from a regular fit to a extra slim fit. I chose the extra slim fit as my body type is a bit on the slim size and I prefer my close tighter than the average male. They also have some awesome colors, patterns, and different material options for you to choose from. I went with the Green Cotton Sateen suit and it fits like a glove. I paired with a nice white tee and some sneakers for a more casual, every day, “I can wear this to work and to the bar” look. The suit jacket is slim but there is still room to breathe. The pants are a bit on the shorter side as I hate when my pant leg gets caught in my shoe as I’m walking (just me or does that happen to others?). Also I tend to wear a suit with no sock in the summer so I’d like them to be a bit tapered.
Be sure to check out Express and treat yourself to something nice this Valentines Day. It’s okay to be your own Valentine and it’s an excuse to buy yourself something nice (even if you do have a date to go on)!
