Ah, that first cool gust of Fall air. I know you felt it. It’s one of my favorite feelings! It marks the beginning. The beginning of a new season, new opportunities, a new fresh start, and most importantly new clothes! I always get excited when the temperature drops even just a few degrees because I know that my Fall shopping can finally begin. I usually start with the basics – new tees and long sleeve shirts, then find some comfy overshirts to layer on top, and then pair it with a great pair of denim and finish it off my favorite item of the colder seasons which is, of course, boots. Boots are really what make or break the outfit and is what most people look at first. Thanks to Bonobos I got this Fall under control. Last weekend I traveled upstate near Hudson, New York to enjoy the beginning of the Fall season and take a little breather from the hustle and bustle of city life. I decided to pack very lightly for my trip and only brought just the essentials when it came to my clothing and it worked out perfectly. My recent purchases at Bonobos were just what I needed in the 50-60 degree weather and I must say I looked pretty great 🙂 As you can see, I paired my new Corduroy Shirt Jacket with a tee and my new grey haze wash Eco Jeans which fit me perfectly. I think the biggest reason why I was so excited to head upstate besides to get away from the noise was to try out my new boots. I recently purchased the Blake Lace-Up Boot in brown suede and couldn’t wait to take them out for a spin! The boots are from Bonobos’s new line of footwear that I was very eager to try out for myself and trust me it did not disappoint. The boots are sturdy, look amazing, are super comfortable and padded and also give you a little bit of height which was a big plus! The Blake Lace-Up also comes in brown calfskin. I decided on a boot since I was heading upstate and wasn’t sure whether or not I would hike that weekend- it ended up being more relaxing than active (which I wasn’t too mad about).
