So I decided to take a different approach this holiday season and take it SLOW & EASY. Every year I get so caught up in buying gifts, posting every photo I can find of a Christmas tree, making sure I get enough holiday in before the season ends. I realized I was just making myself crazy for no reason. Everything will get done and I don’t have to stress so much if I can figure out how to manage my time and take a moment to relax. What a better way to relax than with a glass of fantastic wine. Cakebread Cellars wine was just what the doctor ordered.
To be honest I don’t drink wine too often but it’s those rare occasions when I REALLY could go for a glass. I usually prefer white wine over red but since it is almost Winter and the holiday season I decided to go for something a bit darker. The merlot went down so smoothly and had notes of black cherry and plum, perfect for a cold night. Cakebread Cellars has been around since 1973 and is one of the most successful wineries in Napa Valley. The company owns 15 sites totaling over 560 acres. They are known mostly for their passion, hospitality and of course world-class wines! Their merlot is a great addition to a late RELAXING December evening.
My message to you this holiday season is to slow down and take it easy. Everything will get done and nothing is worth stressing over too much. Just sit back and enjoy some wine, like me!
