Did I just blink and 2018 happened? It’s over? I feel like that lasted for 5 minutes.
Oh well, another year older and another year wiser I say!
This year taught me a lot about relationships. Both platonic and romantic. I learned I need to be true to one person: myself. I learned that not everyone will want what’s best for me. I learned that it take a great amount of courage to stand up for yourself and what you believe in and it takes a whole lot more to stick to those beliefs. I learned that you need to keep the people close who ignite a fire within you. The ones filled with compassion and empathy, who will lift your spirit when they know you so desperately need it.

The things that I’ve learned over the year will help me start this new year fresh, with a whole new outlook. It’s time to celebrate a new beginning and wipe the slate clean. This year I’m celebrating the end of 2018 but also the beginning of a new year of good and positive things. I’m toasting this year with some of the best prosecco I’ve ever had from my friends at Cavit. #HeresToCavit for helping me celebrate the coming of this glorious year.
