Kevin Kesicki is the new drummer for Sink the Sun. Formerly the guitarist, he moved to drummer after bower and jake left the band. He is involved in much of the recruiting and writing for the band, and to much of his bandmates’ dismay, frequently attempts backup vocals.
Stevo Slash: One of Kesicki’s trademarks is his guitar, shaped unlike any other and painted an obnoxious shade of yellow. Kevin and his father Steve created this guitar, called the Stevo Slash. In the winter of 2007, Steve Kesicki, as an accomplished woodworker, received a surplus amount of cherrywood from his brother-in-law. Not knowing what to do with the wood, the two decided to build a guitar. Getting their supplies from Stewart-MacDonald and following a blueprint for a Fender Telecaster, the Slash was created in the spring of 2008.
